Corn

Here is the corn we got this year. It's not as much as last year, but we have about 15 bags left over in the freezer from last year so that helps some. We got 15 bags (3 cups per quart freezer bag) put up to add to what we have left over from last year.

I'm always SO thankful for all of the corn. It is wonderful to eat in the wintertime. Because it's blanced & then frozen, it still tastes like it's right out of the garden.

Yum! That looks great. What wonderful things to have to put in soups and stews during the winter.

Yum, yum, yum! I love seeing all this garden produce put up for the winter. We did do a very small amount of corn this year, 4 bags, but that's better than nothing when you have to buy the corn, LOL! And you are right.... it will taste like fresh-from-the garden corn this winter.

Oh Claire, it is so good in vegetable soup! Or just in a bowl with butter & salt! :)

Lori, 4 bags IS great! It sure is better that none! I just love that fresh sweet corn flavor. Canned corn seems like it a different crop doesn't it?
