I'm always SO thankful for all of the corn. It is wonderful to eat in the wintertime. Because it's blanced & then frozen, it still tastes like it's right out of the garden.
"Why does God allow us to spend so much of life in the heat of battle? Because He never meant for us to sip His Spirit like a proper cup of
tea. He meant for us to hold our sweating heads over the fountain and lap up His life with unquenchable thirst."

Yum! That looks great. What wonderful things to have to put in soups and stews during the winter.
Yum, yum, yum! I love seeing all this garden produce put up for the winter. We did do a very small amount of corn this year, 4 bags, but that's better than nothing when you have to buy the corn, LOL! And you are right.... it will taste like fresh-from-the garden corn this winter.
Oh Claire, it is so good in vegetable soup! Or just in a bowl with butter & salt! :)
Lori, 4 bags IS great! It sure is better that none! I just love that fresh sweet corn flavor. Canned corn seems like it a different crop doesn't it?
